| Sometimes the smallest things, whether they be words or actions, just remind you that you really are special and that people really do look at you and think.. "Wow. She's something else."
I went to this random Subway on Straw Plains after working out last night. One of those in the gas station deals. I never even knew it existed til like the week before Spring Break. So I go in, be myself, very politely order my food. Well, while he's making my sammich, this guy keeps looking at me. He was young, probably late 20's. And me being me, I have no idea what to do, so I just smile and make polite conversation. Finally he gets done making it and is about to ring me up, and he just goes " You know, you have a smile that lights up a room."
He seriously almost made me cry. But it felt good to be told that something as small as my smile was so greatly appreciated.
I should go tip him.

| Pretty sure someone's gonna have to slap me soon. I don't know when the last time was that I've smiled as much as this past week. Or when I laughed as hard as I did last night. Or when I watched American Idol and had to physically get up and leave because the people were embarrassing ME that badly. But as is such, I can't remember when I've smiled this much. |

Today is just an inservice.... getting me acclimated to the staff and the school. Tomorrow..... well.... that's when the real work begins. Pray for my soul. |
